It seems that Tony Blair’s old PR mastermind, Alistair Campbell is now planning on running as an MP, according to this poster I saw in Paisley a few days ago.
However, it also seems that in order to increase his chances of victory in this election he has decided to run as a candidate for the Tory party.
Well Labour was going that way anyway…
The US army seem to have decided to get Gary Glitter on board to threaten Iran. The official army poster shows the disgraced glam rocker mixing his old glam rock image, in the form of stripey trousers and a starry wastecoat with his new seedy, malevolent image complete with the chinny beard he has been sporting in all of his trials of recent memory. The poster shows him rolling up his sleeves ready to fight any Iranian that comes his way, and who wouldn’t be afraid of such a hideous man?
Indeed, the US army wouldn’t even have him over for a photoshoot, so they had to settle with a drawing of how he might look when he’s ready to hit someone with a spanner.
